0.75 L · Incl. VAT · plus shipping costs
Red wine from Vins Miquel Gelabert, made from Tempranillo, Callet and Cabernet. The island variety Callet from old vines, aged twelve months in French and American oak. Red fruits meet vanilla, roasted notes and leather. Dry, round, with a long finish.
Character
Cherry red with ruby reflections, clear and bright. On the nose, medium to high intensity, with red fruits over a base of high-quality wood, contributing vanilla and toasted notes, along with a hint of leather, slightly balsamic. On the palate, dry, flavorful and broad, balanced and round, with good acidity and an aromatic, long finish.
Vinification
A cuvée of Tempranillo, Callet and Cabernet. The Mallorcan grape variety Callet from old vines gives the wine its unique character, while Cabernet and Tempranillo enhance color, structure and body. The wine ferments spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and then matures for twelve months in French and American oak barrels before bottle aging prior to release.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with all kinds of grilled dishes, with lightly seasoned braised dishes, with island sausages like Sobrassada, and with Mallorcan cuisine in general.
