Character
A medium-dense cherry red with a purple rim. Very complex on the nose, with jam and wild berries, especially blackberry, as well as coffee, cocoa, leather, roasted notes, and a combination of spices. Silky and elegant on the palate, with body, round and balanced, with a long finish reminiscent of dried fruits and Mediterranean herbs.
Vinification
A cuvée of the autochthonous grape varieties Fogoneu, Gorgollassa, Callet, and Manto Negro. The wine ferments spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and then matures for twelve months in French and American oak barrels before bottle aging prior to sale. A wine that showcases the potential of Mallorca's native grape varieties.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with braised dishes, red meat stews, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
