Reserva Cuvée from Vins Nadal made from Manto Negro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Black fruit and liqueur fruit meet vanilla, tobacco, and chocolate. Dense, velvety, elegant, with a long finish.
Character
A cherry red with a ruby rim, clear and bright. The nose is intense, with black fruit and liqueur fruit, typical of Manto Negro, along with vanilla, caramel, tobacco, butter, and a delicate smoky note. On the palate, it is dense, velvety, elegant, and balanced, with a finish of intense black fruit, vanilla, and chocolate.
Vinification
A Reserva cuvée made from Manto Negro, Mallorca's indigenous red grape variety, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. The wine matured for 12 months in oak barrels. This long barrel aging gives it its dense, velvety structure and aromas of vanilla, tobacco, and chocolate. A wine from the D.O. Binissalem, in which the island variety meets international grape varieties.
Food Pairing
A wine for hearty meat dishes. It pairs well with grilled entrecôte or rack of lamb, as well as with braised game or pot roast. It also cuts a fine figure with aged hard cheese.
